Les, Tai, and the kids desperately need us all right now.

We can’t let finances stop Les from getting the care and support she needs to climb what continues to be a monstrous mountain to conquer. But together, we can help Les emerge on the other side.

After months and months of suffering horrendous chronic pain, Les received the inconceivably heartbreaking news on 8 June 2023 that she was battling secondary cancer on her spine, ribs, clavicle, and femur. She had been living with a fractured spine (in 4 places!)…a broken back!!!!

Then on 12 July, the specialists finally discovered the primary source and Les was also diagnosed with HER2 VE breast cancer.

Les has an enormous battle to fight and her diagnosis of Stage IV breast cancer is beyond heartbreaking. But there is good news! She has beaten the odds so far and her medical team have been astonished at the progress she has made. There is a lot that has already been achieved, but still so much more that can be done…with your help.

Anyone who knows Les, or who has ever met her, knows what a wee pocket-rocket of radiant goodness she truly is! NOTHING is ever too much trouble for this kind, generous, lively human.

Les and Tai (her partner of over 26 years) and their two gorgeous kids, Obi (18) and Ginger (17), live mindfully and have always been there for their community. She is an amazing hands-on mama as well as a fashion designer running her own eco-fashion label, Core Style (which she has obviously had to put on the back burner for over 6 months now to focus on her health).

Les has led such a health-conscious life and she is a truly good human, so this is just all so very unfair. But…we can help!

Beautiful Les has (reluctantly) given her blessing to this fundraising campaign… she absolutely hates the thought of worrying anyone or asking for help. (And if you haven’t met her and would like to support her journey she will be eternally touched and beyond grateful…her whole family will be). So let’s shower this beautiful mama and her family with endless support at this unimaginably difficult and incredibly financially stressful time. Let’s come together as a community to give back to this very special, selfless human. She urgently needs our help!

We are raising urgently needed funds to ensure that Les and her beautiful family have access to:

⁃ the best medical care ⁃ psychological care ⁃ evidence-based holistic care through her integrative doctor including ongoing hyperbaric chamber sessions, intensive supplement and IV infusion therapy, and much more ⁃ fuel costs to/from the gruelling schedule of oncology, hospital, and health appointments

Also, after a huge amount of thorough research, Les would like to travel to the Veritalife clinic in Thailand to access world-class medical professionals and comprehensive cancer therapy. Clearly, this life-saving treatment is going to be prohibitively expensive without financial support
